About
Built here, for the way cars are actually owned here
Most car apps assume a dealer service plan, a credit card and a warranty. DriveIQ assumes a mechanic you trust, Mobile Money, and a car you intend to keep running for a long time.
A vehicle is one of the largest purchases most households make, and almost none of its history is written down. Receipts fade in the glovebox. The service interval lives in someone's memory. When it comes time to sell, the honest owner and the careless one look identical on paper — so both get the same price.
What we are building
DriveIQ is the record that should have existed all along: every fill-up, every service, every tyre and battery, every document with its expiry date, and every cedi spent — organised by vehicle, and yours to export whenever you want.
On top of that record sits AutoAI, which answers questions grounded in your own data rather than in generic advice scraped from a forum. It is the difference between “oil changes are usually every 5,000 km” and “you are 1,200 km past your usual interval, and the last one cost GH₵ 380.”
Ghana-first, not Ghana-eventually
Cedis are the default currency, not a setting. Dates read day-first. Phone numbers display the way people write them. Sign-in is a code by SMS because a phone number is the identity that everyone here already has. Payment is Mobile Money or card. None of this was retrofitted.
How we think about your data
Your records belong to you. Logging fuel, maintenance and expenses is never restricted by plan — holding someone's own history hostage is not a business model we want. Export is available, deletion is a link on this website, and what we do with data is written plainly in the privacy policy rather than buried.
Principles
Three rules we hold ourselves to
They decide the arguments before we have them.
Never gate access, only leverage
Free accounts keep unlimited logging, reminders and reports. Premium adds AI, scanning, export and unlimited vehicles — tools that act on your data, never the data itself.
Numbers must be trustworthy
Fuel economy is computed between full-tank fills and sorted by date, so a mistyped odometer shows up as an obvious error instead of a plausible wrong answer.
Mobile is the real product
Ghana is a mobile-majority market. Every screen — app, website and admin console — is designed at phone width first and allowed to breathe on desktop.
Talk to us
DriveIQ is early, and the roadmap is shaped by the people using it. If something is missing or wrong, we would rather hear it than not.
